These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of appfabrication.com and any Shopify apps provided by AppFabrication (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using our website or installing, accessing, or using any of our Shopify apps, you agree to these Terms.
Use of Services
You agree to use our website and apps lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our services, systems, or data.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our apps complies with applicable laws, Shopify’s terms, and your own obligations to your customers.
Shopify Apps
Our Shopify apps are designed to provide specific functionality inside Shopify stores and Shopify admin.
You are responsible for:
configuring app settings correctly;
testing app behaviour before relying on it in your store operations;
ensuring your staff use the apps appropriately;
maintaining your Shopify store, products, orders, themes, and customer data;
deciding whether an app is suitable for your business needs.
Visual Orders
Visual Orders provides a read-only visual order queue inside Shopify admin. It helps merchants view order and line-item information, product images, customer display names, delivery methods, tags, and note indicators so they can identify, pick, pack, print, and open Shopify orders more efficiently.
Visual Orders does not replace Shopify’s order management, fulfilment, shipping, refund, editing, accounting, tax, packing slip, invoice, or shipping label functionality.
Any pick list generated by Visual Orders is for internal merchant use only and is not intended to be a packing slip, invoice, shipping label, legal document, or tax document.
Fulfilment, shipping, refunds, order edits, and customer communication remain the merchant’s responsibility and should be handled inside Shopify or the merchant’s chosen fulfilment tools.
Billing, Trials, and Cancellations
All billing, trials, subscriptions, and cancellations for Shopify apps are handled through Shopify and billed via your Shopify invoice, unless otherwise stated.
You are responsible for managing app subscriptions through Shopify.
App Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue app features to improve functionality, fix issues, maintain security, comply with Shopify or platform requirements, or support the ongoing operation of the apps.
We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged indefinitely.
Data and Privacy
Use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
You remain responsible for your Shopify store data, customer relationships, legal notices, customer consents, and compliance obligations.
Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for checking that app output is accurate and suitable for your business before acting on it.
For example, where an app displays order, product, delivery, discount, bundle, terms, or customer-related information, you should verify the information inside Shopify where required before taking operational, fulfilment, legal, or customer-facing action.
Intellectual Property
All apps, code, content, branding, designs, documentation, and materials provided by AppFabrication remain the property of AppFabrication or its licensors.
You may not copy, resell, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our apps or materials except as expressly permitted.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may rely on Shopify and other third-party infrastructure or service providers. We are not responsible for outages, changes, limitations, or issues caused by Shopify or third-party services outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
Our website and apps are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppFabrication is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss arising from your use of or inability to use our services.
Our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that our apps will increase sales, reduce costs, prevent errors, ensure legal compliance, or produce any specific commercial outcome.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on our website. The updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted, unless stated otherwise.
