AppFabrication (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website appfabrication.com and develops Shopify applications used by merchants worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our Shopify apps.
We are committed to handling data transparently, responsibly, and only for the purposes needed to provide and support our services.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to:
visitors to appfabrication.com;
Shopify merchants who install or use our apps;
authorised staff or users of those Shopify stores;
customer/order information that may be processed through our apps where required for app functionality.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate our website, provide our Shopify apps, support merchants, maintain security, and comply with legal or platform requirements. The specific information collected depends on how you interact with us and which AppFabrication apps you install or use.
Information you provide
When you contact us, request support, or communicate with us through the website or by email, we may collect information such as:
your name;
email address;
store name or domain;
the Shopify app you are using;
any information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit appfabrication.com, we may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
browser type;
device information;
IP address;
pages visited;
approximate time and date of visit;
basic analytics or diagnostic information.
Shopify store and app data
When you install one of our Shopify apps, we may access limited store, product, cart, order, configuration, or app-usage data strictly required for that app to function, in accordance with Shopify’s API permissions and data protection requirements.
The exact data accessed depends on the app installed and the features used.
App-specific data use
Some AppFabrication apps process different types of Shopify data depending on the features they provide. For example, QVBundle may access store, product, theme, discount, and billing-related data needed to display bundle and quick-view functionality, synchronise app configuration, and manage subscriptions.
Multi Terms may access store, product, collection, cart, locale, country, and rule configuration data needed to display and enforce merchant-defined terms and conditions.
Visual Orders may access recent order data, line items, product images, customer display names, delivery methods, tags, and note presence so merchants can view a read-only visual order queue and print internal pick lists. Visual Orders does not display customer email addresses, phone numbers, billing addresses, shipping addresses, postcode, city, country, or destination information.
QVBundle
QVBundle may process store, product, collection, theme, cart, discount, configuration, billing, and app-usage data required to provide quick view, bundle, guided bundle, discount, display, analytics, and related merchant settings.
QVBundle does not need customer address, email, or phone data for its core storefront bundle functionality.
Multi Terms & Conditions
Multi Terms & Conditions may process store, product, collection, cart, rule, localisation, customer-state, market, country, locale, analytics, and configuration data required to display and enforce merchant-authored terms acceptance rules.
Where rule targeting or analytics are enabled, the app may process the minimum data required to determine whether a rule applies and to record app events for merchant reporting.
Visual Orders
Visual Orders is a read-only Shopify admin app that helps merchants see what customers ordered without opening each order.
Visual Orders may process recent order and line-item data required to display a visual order queue, including:
order number;
customer display name;
product image;
product title;
variant title;
quantity;
SKU;
fulfilment status;
payment status;
delivery method selected for the order;
order tags;
whether an order note exists;
native Shopify order link identifiers required to open the order in Shopify.
Visual Orders does not display or intentionally process customer email, phone number, full address, postcode, city, country, destination, billing address, or shipping address for the visual queue.
Visual Orders does not edit orders, create fulfilments, buy shipping labels, add tracking numbers, refund orders, or modify customer data. Fulfilment, shipping, refunds, and edits remain inside Shopify.
Visual Orders reads order data on demand to display the queue and print an internal pick list. The visual queue is not intended to be an invoice, packing slip, shipping label, or legal/tax document.

For app functionality:
app configuration and installation data may be retained while the app is installed and for a reasonable period after uninstall for support, audit, or legal purposes;
session and authentication data is retained as needed to operate the app;
Visual Orders queue data is read on demand and is not intended to be stored as a separate order-management record;
support correspondence may be retained as needed to resolve issues and maintain support history.
